As a Freight Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the direction and management of the day-to-day Freight operations, including the support of customer relationships, overseeing revenue, profit and cost controls and ensuring safety, service and quality measures. This position requires strong business and leadership skills in order to maximize the efficiency of service centers. The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, providing leadership and motivation to all members of the department in a manner that will achieve continuous improvement, supervising associates and ensuring timely, damage-free loading/unloading of freight, working in a fast paced environment, and administrative functions of the position.
